Certified Pharmacy Technician (PT1) $149
A Pharmacy technician is a pharmacy staff member who works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and performs various pharmacy-related functions. In most cases, job duties include giving medication and other health care products to patients, as well as working with third parties and doctor’s offices to resolve negotiations of patient’s insurance or state programs. Pharmacy technicians often do the routine tasks associated with preparing prescribed medication and providing drugs to patients, but may also do compounding of medications, verbal prescriptions and doctor calls, expense, and medication orders, returns and expired credits, and non-licensed pharmacy management.
Necessary requirements:Graduation from High School (or equivalent), and graduation from an
approved Pharmacy Technician program within the last 5 years.
Or
1-year verifiable work experience as a Pharmacy Technician professional.
