A Medical Laboratory Assistant is a person who, under the supervision of a medical technologist or physician, performs microscopic and bacteriologic tests of human blood, tissue, and fluids for diagnostic and research purposes.
Necessary requirements: Graduation from High School (or equivalent), and graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Assistant program within the last 5 years.
Or
1-year verifiable work experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant.
